Gray depth layout: Sui welcomes DeepBook and Wallrus in the double trust era

Since its launch by Mysten Labs in May 2023, the Sui main network has achieved a balance between the high performance of the block chain and its scalability, with significant advantages such as high throughput, low-delayed parallel transaction processing and Move programming language. In the period 2024-2025, Sui ecology showed a more Gaboni dynamic growth: TVL climbed to its historical peak of $2.3 billion at the end of July 2025, with a record number of active daily addresses, showing a significant increase in user participation in Sui ecology. At the same time, in terms of secondary market prices, Sui ' s price performance has been exceptionally strong since 2024, with the increase winning bitcoin and other mainstream public-chain assets.

In this context, two asset-trust products related to the Sui Ecocore Agreement were officially announced on 12 August by the world ' s largest-focused platform, Grayscale DeepBook Trust and Grayscale Wallus Trust. The two trust funds will invest, respectively, in the Decentralized Order Book Agreement for the Sui ecology, the DeepBook Original Deep, and the Decentralized Data Storage Agreement, the Walrus Original Coal, WAL. This initiative, almost one year after the introduction of the first Sui trust product last year, fully unleashed the strong interest of traditional Wall Street financial capital in the emerging public chain Sui infrastructure.

DeepBook, which serves as a central chemical limit price order book on the Sui block chain, is designed to provide a uniform, high performance flow layer for the entire Sui ecology. Unlike the usual AMM, DeepBook provides a more sophisticated list control, lower slide points and narrower trade price differentials for professional traders and marketers. Its structure makes full use of Sui ' s high-mixed and low-delayed transaction processing capacity and achieves efficiency and price performance close to traditional exchange standards. Walrus is the backbone of data storage on the Sui chain. Walrus, a decentrized data storage protocol on Sui, is located in Sui ' s global data layer, designed to address the core challenge of secure, programmable, scalable data management in block chain systems. Simply put, Walrus provides developers with the means to store and share large-scale information directly on the chain, so that the Sui chain can be used to store video, images, PDF, etc. in a decentrized manner.

Greyscale announced that the DeepBook and Walrus trusts were rapidly resonating in the market. From transaction data, Sui eco-related asset prices and chain activities show signs of upward movement after the news was released. The price of SUI's main web-based tokens rose by more than 10 per cent that day, one time breaking the $4 mark. The two trusts introduced this time, the greyscale, are just one side in stimulating the high prices in the SUI secondary market. More important is its access to the Sui ecology of compliance funds. Similar to the previously well-known Bitcoin trust products under the greyscale flag, the DEEP Trust and the WAL Trust products provide eligible investors with a means of capturing Sui ' s ecological value without having to hold a direct token. While these trusts are currently limited to private subscriptions and have not yet opened up public secondary market transactions, they do not rule out the possibility of pursuing their listing or broadening the investor base in the future when conditions are ripe.

In the long run, with the development of Sui's ecology and the maturity of these agreements themselves, it is expected that DeepBook Trust and Wallus Trust's asset management will grow in scale and that a continuous flow of institutional funds will flow to Sui's ecology. This will not only increase the attention and value of the main web token, SUI, and other ecological projects, but also increase the potential for greater mobility and strengthen the fundamentals of Sui. For Wallus and DeepBook, the Greyscale Trust directs the financial channels that can be allocated by the agency to two main targets. If there is a continuous net requisition from the Walrus Trust, we may be able to see a co-resonance of its new effective storage, average lease and node online rates, accompanied by a downward movement in potential unit storage costs. DeepBook should be reflected as a further deep improvement and reduced cost of shocks, and as a default source of liquidity for more future agreements. Thus, the benefits of having two trusts online can be directed to the growth of the product itself, while the growth of the product itself can once again attract the funds to be deployed through the trust corridor to create a complete benefit closure.
